January 25, 2024 - LRS Route Optimizations - Collection Pickup Days Changing for Many Residents

LRS has been working to optimize refuse pickup routes. Pickup days are being changed for several residences beginning the week of February 5, 2024. This will affect approximately 230 homes with Thursday and Friday pickups. A Cart Hanger will be placed on the trash bins at homes with a changed day.

Thank you for your patience with LRS route optimization - making the routes more efficient will mean less wear and tear on our roads and reduced LRS Garbage Truck traffic in Campton Township.

January 12, 2024 –  Friday collection service cancelled by LRS

Due to the storm, road conditions, and safety of their employees LRS has taken the unprecedented step of cancelling all Friday collections today.  Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow LRS will not be able to perform a Saturday make-up collection as they had originally hoped.

Residents with a Friday collection day are asked to please remove your carts from the edge of the road as soon as possible so the plowing crews will be able to clear closer to the edge of your property.

Regular weekly collections will resume next week on Monday and will follow the regular weekly schedule for the remainder of the week.

For collections on next Friday only:

LRS will take away all accumulated trash and recycle from both this week and next week.  Additional household trash may be set out in bags next to your trash cart.  No service sticker(s) will be required for extra bag(s) of household trash from residents who are 35-gal or 65-gal subscribers.

January 9, 2024 - Collections suspended due to storm.

LRS suspended Tuesday collections early today due to the storm and road conditions. Tuesday collections will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10.  Please ensure your carts are in a safe place away from the roadway and the plows. Carts should be out for collection no later than 6AM tomorrow morning.

Greetings from Lakeshore Recycling Systems!

Spring is approaching and yard waste and organics season will be here soon!  Campton Township residents who use the yard waste and organics subscription cart program, will be automatically re-enrolled if subscribed to the cart program in 2020.  Subscription yard waste and organic cart service is pre-billed for the entire season, in advance of the season, so the fee will appear on the April invoice.  Residents who would like to newly enroll for 2021, please do so as soon as possible to take full advantage of the season cost.  If you plan to cancel your subscription service, please do so before the start of season, preferably before March 15th, to avoid being billed for the season.  To establish or cancel subscription yard waste and organic cart services, please contact LRS via email at CamptonTownship@LRSrecycles.com or call Customer Service at 844.NEED.LRS.
