The Campton Township Solid Waste District serves almost all of Campton Township, including all of unincorporated Elburn as well as parts of unincorporated St. Charles, La Fox, and Maple Park and the Village of Campton Hills except those Village residents whose addresses are in Plato Township. The Incorporated Village of Elburn negotiates a separate contract agreement for their residents, who are still in Campton Township but are not part of our district.
Our current contract for residential trash, recycling and yard waste pickup is with Waste Management, Inc. If you are uncertain about your coverage, consult your Waste Management bill to see which jurisdiction you are in.
The Solid Waste Committee meets at Luau Coffee, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Topics include various environment-related issues pertaining to the Township. Members of the public are always welcome to attend. Please consult our calendar for upcoming meeting dates and times.
